Doritos Contest Update + Much Love To The Fat Boys!

Two things of note today...
1.) We have long admired old school hip hop pioneers The Fat Boys. If I remember my childhood correctly, I watched their feature film DISORDERLIES on an almost-constant loop. So it was sureal and awesome to see that they admire our little webcomic as well, according to their official Twitter feed! They posted the following yesterday: "I needed a good laugh. This webcomic is hilarious! Sore thumbs. LMFAO!" and later "effing hilarious WebComic. I got sore ribs & sore thumbs, just sayin! Check it out at http://bit.ly/58nb0s."
The love is mutual, Fat Boys! Thank you kindly.
2.) A few of you have asked how our entry into this year's Doritos Crash The Super Bowl contest fared in the judging round. Not so great! We always considered our cartoon spot (animated by mightily talented Matt Czap with voices and SFX by the excellent Eric Gusky) to be somewhat of a longshot, if only for the fact that the judges have NEVER chosen an animated finalist in the history of the competition. That streak continues, with all six of this year's finalists being live-action spots. (And some of them are quite funny as well.) No big deal, there's always next year! Congrats to the finalists (and condolences to Flavor Flav).
While waiting for next year's contest, we can all take a nostalgic look back at our sadly overlooked entry...
